Dear friends, these are the kids from this village where the ship stop. The name of the village is KAN GYI. They come from the middle school and visit us, when they see our ship. The education system in Myanmat has changed this year. Grade 5 and Grade 9 examination will be held by the Ministery of Education. Like Grade 11 it is very important and there is no sublimentery. The other Grade exam will be as usual. The exam will start next week for five days. So these kids has to study very hard. But they have to go to the other village where there is a high school. It take about one and a half hour drive by boat. The head mistress is really nice and taught all the kids how to behave well in life.They are so nice and lovely. Everyday after their regular school they swim in the river and go back home.After that come back to the school for extra class. Their parents are farmer,fisherman,and some are working in Yangon and leave their kids at the headmistress house. All the kids are very active. They really want to have the education, they are very young and they are willing to learn very much. Best regards, Khukhu
